He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, where he also earned a Master’s degree in Neurology and Psychiatry, before specializing in personality science and cognitive neuroscience through international certification.
He serves as Secretary of the Personality Disorders Committee at the World Psychiatric Association (WPA) — the body representing 145 psychiatric societies across 121 countries. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the European Psychiatric Association, and the British Neuroscience Association, and an Associate of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in London.
He founded Cairo Neuropsychiatric Clinic, providing integrated assessment and treatment for psychiatric and behavioural conditions. Alongside the clinic, he works with organizations and leaders through psychometric analysis and leadership development programs, and contributes to national and international committees and to public debate on mental health and society.
